Membership

The Geological Society of Maine invites membership in the following categories:

Regular Member

  • $20 / Graduate geologists, or equivalent, with one year of practice in geology, or with an advanced degree.

Institutional Member

  • $20 / Libraries, societies, agencies, businesses with interestes in or practicing geology and related disciplines

Associate Member

  • $10 / Any person or organization desirous of association with the Society

Student Member

  • $5  / Persons currently enrolled as a college or university student.

The Society year runs from September 1 to August 31.  Dues are payable on September 1.  Members can check the address label on their newsletter to determine whether they are paid up.  Make dues checks payable to:  Geological Society of Maine.

Donations

The Society also accepts charitable gifts to the Walter Anderson Education Fund.  Make checks payable to:  Geological Society of Maine referencing the Walter Anderson Education Fund.
